My foray into local news begins. I’ve agreed to present a monthly radio show/ podcast for online Reading news magazine Alt Reading. I was delighted when they approached me as I’ve been wanting to expand my radio experience into the realm of local news for awhile. I enjoy listening to local radio, it’s great to get the chance to have a go at it myself.
I want the show to prove that local news can be exciting and that it’s good to be passionate about Reading Town.
In the first episode I interview Markus Lawrence from The Reading Gallery.We discuss putting a Van Gogh in a cafe and questions over the legitimacy of the artwork. We debate whether Reading is ready for Readybike with Councillor Rob White + loads more.
